Deepika Padukone to star with Rajini in Rana.
A couple of weeks back we had told you that Bollywood's leggy lass Deepika Padukone had been offered a film opposite South superstar Rajinikanth and she was contemplating not doing it due to date issues. Seems like better sense prevailed over the actress and she has decided to accept the offer. Deepika has signed on the film, Rana, with none other than Rajini who will be seen in a triple role, Mumbai Mirror reported.
The music for the film will be composed by maestro AR Rahman and will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telegu.
A source close to the film told the tabloid, "Eros International will produce Rana, with Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya's company, Ocher Studios."
The film will go on floors, in March and is expected to hit the theatres mid-2012.
