Teen Choice Awards 2010: Whims and Fancies of The Teen Choice Awards.

The Teen Choice Awards presentation aired this year on FOX at 8PM ET on Monday, August 9, 2010. The main contenders for this year’s contest were announced on June 14, followed by the live awards ceremony on Sunday, August 8 (and taped to air on August 9 on FOX) hosted by “California Gurl” singer Katy Perry and the cast of the FOX hit “Glee”. This year, Twilight star Taylor Lautner was one of the young stars who received the lion’s share of wins – including Choice Hottie, Choice Smile, and Choice Movie Actor (Fantasy).

This year’s show was hosted by Katy Perry and the cast of the hit Fox show Glee, Kevin McHale, Cory Monteith, Mark Salling and Chris Colfer.

Last year in 2009 awards ceremony was surrounded by controversy with Miley Cyrus pole dancing on an ice-cream truck prop used in her performance of “Party in the USA”.

The winner for Choice Movie Actor (Drama) went to another Hollywood hunk, fellow actor Robert Pattinson. Here are the Teen Choice Awards 2010 winners and nominations list.
